  1. Beautiful!! How are you doing? We spent 10 days in Colorado hiking then we ran a 5K at the Royal Gorge at 10,000 ft. Was no problem as we had been in the state 8 days before the run.
    Have a BLESSED week.

      1. A variety of weather from low of 34 to high of 80 and a skiff of snow a few times. We started out in Rocky Mountain National Park ended up in southern Colorado. This is x country regional week. Saturday is regional good chance of 2 girls and 3 boys going to state.
X country coach ran 50 mile race Saturday and shattered the Kansas record, ran a 8:12 pace and finished it in 6 hours 40 minutes.

Cool story, we were in Canon City eating outside at a picnic table, sat down with girl and her husband. She had a running shirt on so asked her if she was a runner. They were from Denver, told her we lived in Kansas. She said she was maybe going to run ultra next spring in Kansas, asked her where and she said Prairie Sprit. WOW!! So we may help her out if she runs here. let us know when you have a race planned.

      2. Wow! What a race! 8:12 pace for 50 miles is fast! Very cool story about running into someone who might be doing the PST. I’m trying to talk my sister into an ultra. She’s a runner as well. She may do one with me if it works out.
Have a great week. High of 84 today (yuck) then back in the mid 60’s the rest of the week.

      3. To be 95 here then nice rest of the week. Could do without all this wind was 20 mph yesterday. So ready for a nice run while big snowflakes are falling.
