Going green

Going green each (most) mornings makes me feel great. My green smoothie recipe I use is below:

1/4 cup spinach, 1/4 cup kale, 1/3 of a banana, 1/3 cup fresh pineapple, 1/3 cup mango, 1/8 cup water, 1/4 cup ice.

I like to mix up the fruit every now and then. Today I used banana, strawberries, and peaches. So good!!

  1. If you could change the color from green it might be more appealing. How’s the training going for the 100 miler? Weather here has been off and on chilly and decent. No snow all winter YET! Hang in there.

  2. Haha, very true. Better green than brown I suppose. 🙂 Training is going pretty good. The weather has been mostly mild all winter so I can’t complain too much. How about you? Any races coming up? Hope all is well and staying warm!

  3. We ran 5K New Years Day in KC. January 30th running 5K for Special Olympics and Law Enforcement plunge but not plunging. Then in March going to OKC and run Lymphoma Run in memory of brother-in-law. Still trying to get my knee better so 5K’s is all we are doing now.
